Ferdinand Graf von Zeppelin (1838-1917) worked with great enthusiasm to realize his vision of a steerable airship. We all know his plan succeeded. Even today, Zeppelins glide through the air. On the way from idea to reality for the first airship, the Graf Zeppelin had to overcome many obstacles. Several times his plans failed.
However, his persistence, spirit of innovation and his courage ultimately led to success.
